As far as I know, it's a 2 part clay that you mix together and self hardens without baking...that's basically a plus as I don't want to operate an oven I figure someone here must have used this so any info is useful for me
Where can I purchase some online? I am plannign on making some custom items and want to use this rather than sculpey...
Also, it is sandable and stuff when it is cured, right? What is the usual curing time for it and how long can I sculpt before it starts solidifying? And how solid can the finished product get? Just want to know if it is prone to breakage in case I want to make something pointy or thin...
Thanks!

THe stuff I use is dubbed "Green Stuff" - or it's purchasable name, which is Kneadatite. It comes in a ribbon of blue and green, and when you cut off a hunk and knead it in your fingers, it turns green and will stay soft for about 45 minutes or so. You can sculpt it, etc. and when it hardens you can sand, carve, etc.
I love this stuff... you can find it all over on the net, just google for it. There is also one by Citadel that is blue and white, and is basically the same stuff. There is also a "brown stuff" one that is automotive quality (you can find it online or in auto parts stroes) that has aluminum powder in it. It is industrial strength.

Do you think this stuff can be found in hardware stores? I might take a trip down there since it's right around the block...

Apoxie Sculpt (actualy brand name product)
Is like, the big rage in customizing
It can come in different colours, I think you can get it from http://www.thecompleatsculptor.com
it's air hardens, well, I've never used it, but on fwooshnet.com (customizing forums and sculpting and stuff) there's been bo complaints, and is relatively good and not easily crack/breakable
EDIT: with sculpting something thin/pointy, I'd say put a small wire armature in it, if it's big enough to have one
